What's On
The Ranger team organise and run a number of free events throughout the year. They are a great way to explore the park and learn about the local environment. See the information below for our current events:
Family Ranger Events and Guided Walks-We run a range of family friendly events throughout the year. These are suitable for the young as well as the not so young!


Volunteer Events-Help to look after Northam Burrows at these practical volunteer events. These are suitable for anyone aged 16 and over. No experience necessary but booking essential. Tools and refreshments provided, but please bring good sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing, as well as a packed lunch.


Other workshops and events-The visitor centre on Northam Burrows hosts a number of workshops and events run by 3rd party organisations. Take a look below to see what is planned:
Where the river meets the sea-Red Herring Productions-Sunday 30th of April 12-4pm
Come cloud gazing with the brilliant Gobbledegook Theatre. Enjoy 'Where the River Meets the Sea' an exhibition and audio walk made by children from East-the-Water Primary School. Be creative at the Burton's Art Box, take a look at Plastic Free North Devon's films, chat with the team from your local AONB and you may even spot Red Herring's Oystercatchers going fishing on the beach! What's not to like plus a walk on the beach!
