How your Business Rates are worked out
Your rateable value is set by the Valuation Office Agency and Torridge Council is responsible for collecting the business rates
Revaluations and Appeals
All non-domestic properties are generally revalued every five years by the Valuation Office Agency. The most recent revaluation took effect from 1 April 2017
Who has to pay business rates?
The organisation or person occupying or trading from a property is responsible for paying the business rates bill.
