Taw and Torridge rooms
We have two first class conference rooms that can each accommodate groups of up to 50 people (depending on layout).
These rooms are adjacent, separated by a partition wall which can be removed for larger groups who wish to book the whole space.
With the partition wall removed, the total capacity of the Taw & Torridge room is 100 people.
The conference rooms are well equipped for a variety of different functions.
Weddings are held in one of these rooms. All enquires relating to weddings must be made to the Registration Service at Devon County Council.
Tarka room
Perfect for smaller groups, Tarka is a smaller meeting room capable of accommodating 14 people.

Full day bookings last from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Half day bookings can either be for the Morning (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM) or the Afternoon (1:00 PM to 4:30 PM).
The fees in the above table will be correct for all bookings between 01/04/2023 and 31/03/2024. Please be advised that staff are unable to provide information on prices for future financial years, as this is decided towards the end of each financial year.
Room Layouts
We have several standard room layouts for you to select:
Boardroom - A long central table, with chairs around it. (For Taw & Torridge Rooms - Max. 26 People in each room)
Classroom - Multiple tables and chairs facing the front of the room.
Theatre - Rows of chairs facing the front of the room.
Café - Tables throughout the room with 4 chairs to each. (For Taw & Torridge Rooms - Max. 35 People in each room)
Horseshoe - A horseshoe of chairs, with no tables.
Other - A custom layout, as described by the organiser. (Subject to approval by the Caddsdown Customer Advisors.)
