Christmas Collection Dates 2025

Torridge District Council would like to thank residents for their continued commitment to recycling throughout the year. Your efforts make a real difference in reducing waste and protecting our environment.

Our crews will be taking a well-deserved short break over the festive period, so there will be no kerbside recycling collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year's Day. Collections will resume on other days during the holidays, but please note that some may be a day later than usual. To avoid confusion, we encourage everyone to check their collection dates using the online calendar.

As in previous years, there will be no garden waste collections between Monday 22 December 2025 and Sunday 4 January 2026. These will restart on Monday 5 January 2026.

Your efforts help our crews and make a big impact. Please remember to 'wash and squash' your plastic bottles and cans as this simple step allows us to collect twice as much recyclable material on each round. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"
