Beacon Lighting

On 8th May beacons are being lit across the country to mark VE Day and Alwington Parish is no exception. You are welcome to join us at 8:00pm in the Old School Room, Alwington, bringing something to drink, a torch and a chair. 1940s dress is optional but worth the effort. The beacon will be in the Beresfords' field and will be lit at 9:30pm.

Bring and Share Lunch at Alwington Village Hall

Following the success of "Bring and Share" lunches during the last few years a bring and share lunch will take place in the Village Hall at 13.00 on Saturday 10 May. Dress in period costume - there will be a prize for the best-dressed!
