Easter Waste and Recycling Collections in Torridge 2025


With the Easter bank holiday fast approaching, Torridge District Council is reminding residents that there will be some changes to their usual waste and recycling collection days.
All refuse and recycling collections normally due on Friday 18th April (Black Bag, Recycling, Garden Waste) will be collected one day later on Saturday 19th April.
Collections for the week commencing Monday 21st April will also be one day later than usual for the whole week.
The normal collection schedule will resume from the week starting Monday 28th April. For further information on collection dates and times, please visit our website at: torridge.gov.uk/wasteandrecycling
Easter egg packaging is made of various materials such as cardboard, plastic, and foil. These materials can be easily and widely recycled, please see what goes where below;
