Parking

Whilst we have a large car park, with larger groups we do ask you to ask your delegates to car share where possible. Postcode for main car park EX39 3BE.
If you are expecting a number of people whom may require disabled parking please inform us so that we can arrange for additional parking if required. Postcode for Disabled Parking with level access to the building EX39 3DX.

Conditions of Booking

We require the booking form back within 5 working days of receipt. A booking cannot be accepted unless a Company Liability Insurance Certificate is made available at the time of booking. The attached insurance liability form must be completed, signed and returned with this booking form.

Torridge District Council will not permit its accommodation to be let:

• For political rallies or demonstrations
• For purposes which are illegal i.e. be they forbidden by law or unauthorised by official or accepted rules
• For functions attended by people whose presence may cause civil unrest or division within the community
• To an organisation or individual which has been banned by law

The Council also reserves the right to cancel any booking where it considers:

1. that such events may be contrary to the interest of the general public or contrary to any law or act of Parliament. Any bookings will also be subject to consideration from the police to ensure the safety of the community is assessed against the request for a venue booking.

2. the users of the premises may do something that may cause or pose a risk of loss, damage or significant expense to the Council or harm the reputation of the Council.

Final Confirmation

You are required to confirm room bookings and catering requirements 7 working days prior to proposed event. Cancellations after this time will be charged in full.
Please note that organisers cannot provide their own outside catering for buffets, packed lunches or supply their own refreshments etc. (In the event of individuals bringing their own packed lunches a £12.50 service charge will be made per day).
