Road closures

Should your area/road have a road closure on your scheduled collection day, our crews will endeavour to access the road to collect your refuse and recycling.

There will be times when the lorry is unable to gain access but will try again at a later date. On occasions it may be necessary to send a smaller van or make the collection on your next scheduled collection day. Alternatively you can place your refuse or recycling by the road closed sign and our crews will collect from there.

Please ensure you do not block any signage or access to the road for work/emergency vehicles

Due to a lorry issue in Black Torrington, the garden waste service was unable to collect your garden waste.

We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Collections will take place within 7 days, so please leave your garden waste bin (GWB) kerbside for collection.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
