Bideford Neighbourhood Area: Designation of a Neighbourhood Area

Bideford Town Council have expressed an interest in preparing a Neighbourhood Development Plan, in relation to which a Neighbourhood Area Designation Application was received in November 2017.

In accordance with Section 61G of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) and pursuant to a decision made by Torridge District Council at its Full Council on the 5^th February 2018, the Bideford Neighbourhood Area was formally designated.

The area to which the designation relates is the whole of the Civil Parish of Bideford. The letter of application from Bideford Town Council, together with the formal Notice of Designation (including a map of the designated area) are available to download.
