What's On

The Ranger team organise and run a number of free events throughout the year. They are a great way to explore the park and learn about the local environment. See the information below for our current events:


Family Ranger Events and Guided Walks-We run a range of family friendly events throughout the year. These are suitable for the young as well as the not so young!

The summer is well and truly over but do not despair there is plenty to see and do on Northam Burrows this Autumn. We will be running free events during the October half term.

All events start from the visitor centre unless stated otherwise.


Volunteer Events-Help to look after Northam Burrows at these practical volunteer events. These are suitable for anyone aged 16 and over. No experience necessary but booking essential. Tools and refreshments provided, but please bring good sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing, as well as a packed lunch.

Other workshops and events-The visitor centre on Northam Burrows hosts a number of workshops and events run by 3rd party organisations. Take a look below to see what is planned:

Deb Last - Art @ Northam Burrows - Begins September the 5th - Every Monday from 9.30-12.00

Come and get creative at Northam Burrows with Deb Last. This 6 week course will involve outdoor painting and sketching. Cost is £100 for six weeks. For more information call 07887878896 or email dlast@btinternet.com.
