Urban Housing Capacity Study

Status: Published

Author: Torridge District Council

Date: 2001 (Review 2003)

The Urban Housing Capacity Study defines the potential for new housing in built-up areas and predicts how much of that potential is likely to come forward as windfalls within the plan period. The study was published in 2001 with a review undertaken in 2003. The review incorporated the views of the development industry and the results are appended to the main study.

The results of this study have been superseded by the Housing Capacity Study 2004 and work on the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) and are included for archive purposes only.

You can download below a full copy of the Urban Housing Capacity Study including the results of the 2003 review.
