Filming in Torridge

Our friendly team at Torridge District Council aims to work with film companies, big and small, to utilise this beautiful and diverse area as locations for your next production.

Torridge is a beautiful and unique area of Northern Devon, where the coast meets the countryside. Falling within the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere and North Devon Natural Landscape (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), the area offers a range of locations from sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, ancient woodlands and natural valleys as well as beautiful towns and villages perfect for filming. Torridge has hosted many productions over the years, most recently the critically acclaimed 'The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society', with filming around the coast and in the town of Bideford itself. Our team can provide support and assistance for all types of film requests and enquiries ranging from music videos, commercials, TV productions through to major film productions.
