Torridge District Council, working with Devon County Council, is creating a regeneration board to look holistically at future regeneration and development opportunities for Bideford town centre. As we emerge from the pandemic, and in light of how the role of town centres has changed, the board aims to pull together key bodies from across the town and strengthen a shared vision for the town's future. As part of that we are keen to ensure that wider voices are heard and can feed into the process and vision in order to ensure a brighter future for the community and economy.

The appointment will be for one year and will involve a monthly meeting of approximately 2 hour duration, with some additional input required between meetings.

The role will involve working alongside key bodies such as Torridge District Council, Bideford Town Council and Devon County Council. We are keen to appoint/include:

• A 16 to 18 year age group representative
• 2 local business representatives
• Anyone with additional key relevant skills eg urban planning, cultural development
