Torridge District Council appoints new Finance Manager to its Strategic Management Team


Peter Hudson has been appointed the new Finance Manager and Section 151 Officer at Torridge District Council. Peter from Westward Ho!, will be leading the Accountancy & Exchequer Teams and will be responsible for providing corporate financial support and advice to all Council Services, Councillors, Committees and Working Groups in order to facilitate effective decision making.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, Steve Hearse, Peter will be part of the Council's Strategic Management Team, with joint responsibility with other managers for the council's overall performance.
Peter joined Torridge District Council in July 2017, and since July 2020 has been Deputy Finance Manager.
