Northam Neighbourhood Plan: Designation of a Neighbourhood Area

Northam Town Council have expressed an interest in preparing a Neighbourhood Development Plan, in relation to which a Neighbourhood Area Designation Application was received in July 2017.

In accordance with Section 61G of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) and pursuant to a decision made by Torridge District Council at its Full Council on 7^th August 2017, the Northam Neighbourhood Area was formally designated.

The area to which the designation relates is the whole of the Civil Parish of Northam. The letter of application from Northam Town Council, together with the formal Notice of Designation (including a map of the designated area) are available to download.
