Great Torrington Commons Conservators

Torridge District Council election office administer the election process on behalf of the Commons Conservators.  Those members that are elected are asked to attend a monthly meeting and to donate two or more hours helping to maintain the Commons.  This role could include planting, keeping the footpaths clear, guiding walks or building bridges.

The last election was held on 10 May 2012.  The results of this election can be viewed by clicking on the related downloads box on the right hand side of this page.  Those members elected will serve a term of office of 3 years with the next election scheduled for 14 May 2015.
