Hidden Gem - Kenwith Valley Nature Reserve viewing area works completed

Tucked away on the edge of Bideford Kenwith Valley Nature Reserve, which features a lake, woodlands and traditional grasslands is the perfect escape for a pleasant walk and to spot local wildlife

The council have just completed a refurbishment of the viewing area to the lake, which had rotted away and eroded over time. Old posts and sleepers from the demolished visitor centre at Northam Burrows were reused to create the platform which was then covered with aggregate to form the viewing surface.

A great place to while away the hours or just get outdoors and enjoy nature - pop on over for a visit when you're next in town!
