Key Dates

24th March - The Notice of Election will be published.

25th March - Delivery of potential candidate's nomination paperwork can start.

8th April - Nominations for the available seats will close.  Publication of Interim Election Notice will provide details of who is nominated for contested seats and who has been appointed in uncontested seats. 

9th April - Publication of Statement of Persons Nominated by 4pm.

19th April - DEADLINE to register to vote.  People who are not already registered, or who have recently moved need to register by this date to vote on the 6th of May 2021.

20th April at 5pm - DEADLINE to apply for a postal vote and a postal proxy vote.  People who do not have a postal vote will need to apply by this date to vote by post.  This is to ensure there is time to print and sent papers to voters, and for voters to then complete and return by 10pm on election day.

27th April at 5pm - DEADLINE to apply for a proxy vote. People who do not have a proxy vote will need to apply by this date.  This is to ensure there is time to create the required paperwork and confirmations.

No later than 27th April - Publication of Notice of Poll and Polling Station list (District and Parish).
