We are pleased to support businesses with signposting to local and national resources to assist them through this process. Working together with North Devon+ to deliver a quality Gateway service in Northern Devon is key to ensuring the benefit of the Kickstart Scheme can be taken up by businesses across the area, supported by local delivery partners."

Torridge District Council Lead Member for the Economy Councillor Bob Hicks says: "While the current crisis has hit all types of business employment across the Country the prospects for our younger generations to get their first break in a chosen career path has perhaps never been so difficult. The Kickstart scheme should hopefully open up opportunities for younger people but also allow businesses a subsidised route to boosting their own workforce to help them grow and overcome the current challenges being faced. North Devon+ will be on hand to help business owners through the application process or provide further advice and guidance."

Member of Parliament for Torridge and West Devon Geoffrey Cox says: "It is vital that once we have emerged from this coronavirus crisis we build back better and this Kick Start initiative will be an important part of doing so. We will all need to work hard together to put in place the pieces for our future recovery."
