Le JAMES JOYCE prov sailing date. SABRINA landing craft in to Bideford tonight.

Le JAMES JOYCE is to sail on Monday 4th of May provisionally, after further work on her propellors by the sub contractor makers.

Babcock Appledore say that she could be again delayed until the morning tide on the 5th May.

She will go for proving trials (propellor) and if all is well will sail to Ireland.

Ex Landing Craft SABRINA is to spend overnight at BIDEFORD QUAY tonight. Her skipper - Darren Larkham of BULLO MARINE has collected the RNLI's lifeboat tractor and trailer that has been undergoing trials on the beach at the Marine camp Instow. The equipment will be delivered to Ilfracombe harbour.

The Sabrina will then sail to the Scilly Isles for work. She is an ex Royal Marines landing craft and is 24 metres long, can carry 80 tons, and is fitted with spud legs.
