The Torridge District Local Plan 1997 - 2011 NO LONGER FORMS PART OF THE STATUTORY DEVELOPMENT PLAN for Torridge, being superseded by the North Devon and Torridge Local Plan 2011-2031 which was adopted on 29th October 2018.
The Plan formally covered the whole of the Council's administrative area (including Lundy Island) and set out the detailed policies and proposals to guide the development and use of land and buildings. It was divided into 2 sections;
The Torridge District Local Plan was superseded by the North Devon and Torridge Local Plan on 29th October 2018, having been previously adopted in 2004. It no longer forms part of the development plan and is provided for information only.
